Ekklesia publishes free theology courses for people who want to understand the Christian faith in depth without enrolling in a faculty: church leaders, students and the simply curious.
Each course is divided into short lessons meant to be followed in order. Depending on the subject, a lesson can be written, filmed, recorded as audio or come with a PDF.
The courses are written with care: sources are cited, and debates between Christian traditions are presented fairly.
Alexandre Hérault
Alexandre Hérault was senior pastor of the Assemblies of God church in Luxembourg and president of the association behind it. Under his ministry the church grew to become the second-largest French-speaking evangelical church in the country.
He holds a Master of Theology from Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels. His thesis traced the history of the concept of the biblical canon, from ancient Judaism to the Reformation. He went on to teach theology to undergraduate students in Switzerland from 2020 to 2024.
Through Ekklesia, he puts this double experience, as pastor and as teacher, at the service of everyone who wants to deepen their faith.
